River Tweed/Teviot

On the other side of the borders to the River Nith, these two fantastic rivers offer some of the best dry fly sport in the Spring months going.

Where I spent many a happy day and night fishing away in winter , through Spring Summer and Autumn practicing and learning my river craft. With the help of Veteran border angler and Scotland World/European team member Jake Harvey, river national champion on more than one occasion.

Big river but manageable and plenty of water to fish, in the Winter, Peebles water holds some huge grayling as seen below.

With such a variety of water to fish, there is always options here and if the river both the Tweed and Teviot are to big there is always the Leda, which is one of my favourite waters as it requires a bit of stealth and is only small, but has huge grayling in it.

Melrose is another option which fishes well all year and has some very large brown trout and also Merton water, contact me for options.
